Description

“Right over the town is the ruin of Whitby Abbey, which was sacked by the Danes, and which is the scene of part of “Marmion,” where the girl was built up in the wall. It is a most noble ruin, of immense size, and full of beautiful and romantic bits. There is a legend that a white lady is seen in one of the windows.”
from “Dracula” by Bram Stoker, 1897

A hand carved and hand printed lino print of the ruined walls of Whitby Abbey.

The print itself is 105mm x 139mm, printed on Japanese simili paper. You will receive the lino print in a mat surround, which is suitable for a 10″ x 8″ frame.

The lino print is one of a limited edition print run of 100 and is signed by the artist. The print you receive may be slightly different from the one in the pictures – this is the beauty of hand printing!
